The Michigan Congresswoman confessed to the truth while speaking with a non-masked attendee of an event featuring Housing and Urban Development Secretary Marcia Fudge in Detroit.
Tlaib explained to the attendant that the mask was only on her face because the tracker was recording the exchange after the individual mistakenly believed Tlaib was criticizing him for being maskless.

“Oh no, you’re not the one!” The video shows Tlaib saying this. “No, no, no – I’m just wearing it because I’ve got a Republican tracker here.”
Tlaib also pointed at the tracker filming the pair’s exchange in the video first reported by the Washington Free Beacon
After being caught wearing a mask on a Dearborn dance floor, her congressional performance was criticized. However, her guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), required indoor masking to prevent high levels of coronavirus infection.
Tlaib was defending Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) for his video encouraging Americans against the new CDC COVID-19 guidelines.
Tlaib, responding to the video of the Republican lawmaker posted a map of Kentucky which shows the counties that are in high CDC risk areas.

Tlaib posted, “The Kentucky Senator is throwing an epiphany as his state continues to be swept away by the virus,” Tlaib tweeted, “People are dying. There is a high rate of COVID-19 in 98 Kentucky counties.” It is time for him to stop putting politics ahead of people. You must resist the virus.
Tlaib’s office did not respond to Fox News’ request for comment on the video.
