Kamala Harris, Vice PresidentWith rising inflation and economic uncertainty here in the U.S.A, more people spent $500 to buy cookware at a Parisian store.

The shop was visited by the vice president during her 4-day diplomatic visit to Paris last week. She reportedly spent 516 euro on pans at E. Dehillerin, an elite cookware retailer.

It is situated outside the Louvre Museum, which houses the Mona Lisa famous painting by Leonardo da Vinci.

IncludesAccording to the store which revealed the price of the order to the Washington Free Beacon, the items purchased included a porcelain egg dish as well as a copper cleaner.

By comparison, a Mauviel copper saucepan carried by luxury brand Williams Sonoma — based in Harris’ home state of California – is priced between $200 and $285.

Harris stopped by E. Dehillerin to answer reporters who wanted to know how she was preparing for her presidency. With a look of shock, Harris looked at reporters and didn’t directly answer their question, but she did praise the successes of her diplomatic mission. 

She stated that “I’ll tell you it was very productive and an enjoyable trip” but added that there are “a lot more follow-ups to be done by the U.S.”

Harris was able to purchase luxury cookware in Paris. However, Americans had to continue dealing with inflation and rising costs at home.

Energy and gas prices have been rising into winter. The Biden administration has temporarily opened the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to help reduce the fuel costs.

America’s supply chain is in crisis, and the labor shortage is getting worse. This year’s Thanksgiving will be the most expensive in more than three decades. Prices are expected to rise 14% this year compared with last.

Harris’ office refused to comment on Free Beacon’s inquiry about the purchase.
