In a series tweets, David Frum (Atlantic staff writer) suggested that doctors and hospitals should not give unvaccinated patients high priority in his Saturday column.

Frum stated that the US would halt its current vaccination level unless it adopted stricter vaccine requirements – something I support, but which is not likely to occur – in a Twitter thread.

NEW YORK TIMES EDITORIAL: TOO MANY AMERICANS STILL ‘PARALYZED’ BY CORONAVIURS FEARS

He stated that, aside from “seemingly simple mandates”, such as the requirement to carry vaccines on board planes, it was best to prioritize vaccinated people in hospitals.

Frum said that the best choice was to (1) Keep encouraging vaccines boosters; (2) Impose vaccine mandates wherever it is possible; (3) Otherwise, return to normal as full as possible, especially in schools; and (4) Let hospitals quietly triage any emergency care to treat the unvaccinated last.”

Frum was criticized for suggesting that hospitals should not treat patients who haven’t been vaccinated.

Contributing editor The Spectator Stephen Miller responded with a few tweets of his own criticizing the thread writing, “’the malignant minority’ he writes while he and his magazine wonder why people just tuned them all out. JFC, don’t be a toad.

“It’s amazing how you keep getting worse. You should study it. (But don’t worry I wouldn’t force you to be injected with anything or be separated from society.)” Dave Rubin is a political commentator on YouTube.

Greg Pollowitz of Twitchy wrote that Greg Pollowitz was an honest q for @davidfrum. He shot the unvaccinated, 18 year old Black male on his return from school. The other is a white 85 year-old former CEO who suffered a heart attack. They both need ICU beds, there is only one. “Who gets it?”

Frum later doubled his offer.

He wrote, “Reading through the responses to this tweet, it is impressive by the enormous self-pity displayed by anti-vaxxers–who see themselves as bottomless victim, while their bad choices deprive hospital care to many other people in dire need.” If you have not been vaccinated by this time, then you do not qualify as a victim. You contribute to the victimization and abuse of vulnerable people.

Frum played a prominent role in Republican politics all through his life. Frum was a speechwriter for President George W. Bush and a special assistant. However, he left the party in order to be more hard-left during the Trump era. He wrote the 2018 book, “Trumpocracy: The Corruption of the American Republic.”
