Fox News First: Good morning, and greetings! This is what you should know before you begin your day.

After Gabby Petito was found strangled to death, Brian Laundrie’s lawyer says Gabby’s death is a tragedy.
Steven Bertolino (Brian Laundrie’s attorney) called Gabby Petito’s death “tragedy”, Tuesday, after Dr. Brent Blue, Teton County Coroner, stated that she had committed suicide by manual strangulation.

Dr. Blue indicated that Petito’s remains were discovered in Wyoming’s Bridger-Teton National Forest, on Sept. 19, approximately three-to four weeks after she died.

Her former fiancé, Brian Laundrie, returned home to North Port, Florida, on Sept. 1 in Gabby’s white van and disappeared on Sept. 13. Gabby is looking for him to investigate alleged debit card fraud.

“Gabby Petito’s death at such a young age is a tragedy,” Bertolino told Fox News on Tuesday.

“While Brian Laundrie is currently charged with the unauthorized use of a debit card belonging to Gabby, Brian is only considered a person of interest in relation to Gabby Petito’s demise,” he continued. Brian Laundrie is currently missing. We will pursue the fraud charges against him when we locate him.”

Nichole Schmidt (Gabby’s mom) rebuffed Bertolino’s comments Tuesday.

She told WFLA that “His words were garbage.” “Keep talking.” CLICK HERE TO READ MORE ABOUT OUR TOP STORY

Loudoun County parents ask for resignation from the superintendent in protest at alleged sexual assaults within schools
In the wake of two sexual assault allegations, more than 60 parents and students spoke out at Tuesday’s Loudoun County Schools Board Meeting. Many demanded Scott Ziegler be fired.

Video

Signs urging Ziegler’s resignation were carried by parents who attended the meeting of school boards.

One angry mother declared, “This isn’t China. This is the United States of America. And we won’t be silenced.” You must immediately remove the superintendent and then you should resign because of your negligence. This is a nightmare!

The parents referred to two sexual assaults. The first, according to the victim’s dad, occurred on May 28, 2021. The father told The Daily Wire that the boy who wore a skirt attacked his 9th-grade daughter in the restroom. Elizabeth Lancaster, the lawyer for the victim’s father, stated that the boy was accused of two counts each of forcible and anal sodomy as well as one count for forcible fellatio.

“We can confirm a May 28, 2021 case that involved a thorough 2-month-long investigation that was conducted to determine the facts of the case prior to arrest,” the sheriff’s office told Fox News. The case is still in the hands of court proceedings. The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is not able to provide any documents that pertain to a pending case.” The case involved sexual assault, according to the sheriff’s office.

At a June 22 board meeting, Ziegler declared “the predator transgender student or person simply does not exist,” and that to his knowledge, “We don’t have any record of assaults occurring in our restrooms.” CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE

House votes in favor of raising debt ceiling. It will delay default showdown to December.
On Tuesday, the House passed a $480 million increase to the debt limit. The move prevents an unfavorable default in America for at least two additional months.

Video

The measure was approved by the Democrat-controlled House with a 219 to206 vote. This vote brought the House into line with the Senate which last week passed its bill increasing the debt limit to $480 billion. The bill is likely to be signed by President Biden.

This resolution will enable the federal government cover its debt obligations until Dec. Democratic legislators will take advantage of the temporary reprieve in order to find a longer-term solution without Republican support to increase the debt limit.

The debt ceiling bill’s passage followed a lengthy standoff on Capitol Hill. Janet Yellen (Treasury Secretary) and other business leaders warned of an economic crisis if Congress failed to approve a rise before Oct. 18 when the government runs out money.

Republican legislators pledged to not help Democrats raise debt ceiling. They argued that a hike would only allow Biden Administration spending programs they consider fiscally reckless to support. Biden, along with Democratic leaders, have refuted this argument. The hike will allow the U.S. to cover any debts that it may already have incurred. CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE

Sean HannityOn Tuesday evening’s “Hannity”, President Biden was criticized for his plans to send American taxpayer funds to Afghanistan. This comes as Afghanistan continues its economic decline, with record inflation and rising gas prices.

Fox News host, Fox News: “The Biden administration” said that it was planning on sending more money to Taliban. Although they call it humanitarian aid, in my experience, this looks a lot like a ransom to terrorists.

He said that Afghanistan is just one of many things Biden had touched and has “become an unmitigated catastrophe.”
