Sinema was confronted by immigration activists outside of a campus classroom. They then followed Sinema into a restroom to discuss “a pathway towards citizenship” for illegal immigrant immigrants. Sinema issued a statement blaming them for their actions the following day.
Sinema wrote in the press statement that it was unacceptable for activist organisations to tell their members to risk their lives by instructing them to engage in illegal activities like gaining access to university buildings closed, disrupting learning environments, or filming students in a toilet.
